PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk rotating device which has a simple and inexpensive structure and rotates a disk smoothly at a desired position. SOLUTION: A main body 2 of the device for the disk rotating device 1 is equipped with a rotational body 40 for rotating the disk C and an operational means 50. The rotational body 40 is provided on the main body 2 of the device to rotate and to move in the vertical direction, and force is applied to the rotational body 40 in one rotating direction by a first elastic member 60. The rotational body 40 has an engaging groove 43 to engage a peripheral edge CI of the disk C on the underside 41. Locking nails 17, 17 formed on the main body 2 of the device lock the disk C and prevent the rotations of the disk C by the elasticity of the first elastic member 60 when the disk C rotates in one direction. The operational means 50 moves the rotational body 40 downward, releases the disk C by unlocking the locking nails 17, 17, and rotates the disk C in an upright state by the elasticity of the first elastic member 60.
