PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply finish a jacket with side vents without wrinkles. SOLUTION: The finishing apparatus is provided with: a torso; a bottom pressing means arranged under the torso; and a tensioning means for tensioning the bottom of the jacket so as to project. In addition, a hollow support 1b is installed under the torso so as to make steam blow out upward from the upper-end opening of the torso or the neighborhood over it and to make hot air blow out. Just over the upper-end opening of the support 1b, a cloth 70 is arranged, and the flow direction of a part of the steam and the hot air is changed to face a lateral side by this cloth to be supplied to the bottom of the jacket.
