<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing at low cost a sterilized and accurate biosensor-based medical device. <P>SOLUTION: After the biosensor-based medical device including a biosensor reagent composition is sterilized, the biosensor reagent composition of the sterilized medical device is calibrated. The sterilization can be implemented by using a technology-based on gamma irradiation.
