PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a barrier film with strength, excellent heat resistance and barrier properties for oxygen gas, water vapor, or the like, superior disposability and environmental adaptability, and useful for forming a laminated material that is used as a paper container for liquid to fill and package a variety of beverages such as, especially, milk, lactic acid bacteria beverages, soup, fruit juice, barley water, green tea water, oolong tea water and alcoholic beverages and the like. SOLUTION: This barrier film comprises a nylon MXD6 film made from crystalline nylon MXD6 obtained by a polycondensation reaction between meta-xylene diamine and adipic acid. The moisture content (wt%) of the nylon MXD6 film is in a range of 2.0-6.0%. The glass transition temperature of the nylon MXD6 film is in a range of 80-120°C.
