<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image-forming method, a printed matter and a recording apparatus, excellent in quality of characters, free from color mixture, enabling recording of high-definition image and having good handleability. <P>SOLUTION: The image-forming method comprises discharging ink curable by an active beam onto a recording material by a recording head having at least one nozzle capable of selectively controlling discharge of ink drop.
