<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus for preventing contamination inside a machine due to toner scattering. <P>SOLUTION: In an image forming apparatus consisting of a fixed (jumping) developing device, a scattered toner collecting device, and a plurality of (2 component) developing devices in a rotary device from upstream of drum rotation, toner contamination of a roll is prevented by making the length of a bias roll provided to the scattered toner collecting device longer than an abutting roll position in the fixed developing device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
