INFORMATION SUPPORT SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new information support system by which a terminal user can grasp his (or her) own position in an optical space communication environment.

SOLUTION: The information support system performs optical space communication between an intelligent user terminal (1) and a plurality of information transmitters (2). The intelligent user terminal (1) includes a voice photoelectric conversion means (11) for receiving voice information light from an information transmitter (2) and converting the voice information light into an electric signal, a voice output means (12) for outputting the obtained electric signal as a voice, an ID photoelectric conversion means (13) for receiving ID information light from the information transmitter (2) and converting the received light into an electric signal, and an ID analysis means (14) for analyzing ID information inherent in each information transmitter (2) on the basis of the obtained electric signal. The information transmitter (2) includes a voice transmission means (21) for transmitting voice information light whose strength is modulated on the basis of voice information and an ID transmission means (22) for transmitting ID information light modulated on the basis of the ID information inherent in each information transmitter (2).
