CAPACITOR DEVICE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small size capacitor and a method of manufacturing the same by solving the problems that the height becomes large because the capacitor is fixed to a holder vertically and that the inductance becomes large because the connection distance between the external terminal of the capacitor and the other electronic component is long.

SOLUTION: The capacitor device is constructed with a holder 3 including an accommodation part 4 having the arcuate cross-section with the upper surface opened and a mounting hole 5 for the loading purpose, and a capacitor 1 which is held horizontally by inserting a thermo-compressing resin tube 6 into the accommodation part 4 of the holder 3. Accordingly, reduction of the size can be realized by reducing the height, and the inductance can also be lowered by shortening the connection distance with other electronic components.
