<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically manufacture a wire harness requiring a middle joint process in as short a cycle time as possible. <P>SOLUTION: A main wire processing line L1 for peeling is provided in the middle part of a coated wire WL. Against the peeled part WL1 of the coated wire WL peeled with the main wire processing line L1, a branch wire processing line L2 for processing another coated wires WB whose end is electrically connected is operated in parallel.
