<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic music playing device capable of a pattern musical performance which is rich in variation even by simple operation. <P>SOLUTION: A player selects a desired style and sets a pattern musical performance length individually for the selected style or specifies the playing order of patterns as well as the pattern musical performance length and then the automatic music playing device switches patterns in order according to the set pattern musical performance length, so that an automatic musical performance in the selected style is carried out. Consequently, the player need not do complicated operation of sequentially selecting and specifying patterns in musically proper timing in constant attendance and only makes simple parameter settings to enable a pattern musical performance which is rich in variation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
