PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid fuel rocket capable of performing combustion control of a solid propellant and making thrust high. SOLUTION: This solid rocket 1 is provided with a hollow combustion chamber 2 with a spherical outline, combustion units 4 mounted to a wall surface 5 of the combustion chamber 2 to blow combustion gas into the combustion chamber 2, and a nozzle 3 passing through the wall surface 5 of the combustion chamber 2 and leading combustion gas in the combustion chamber 2 to the outside of the combustion chamber 2. The combustion unit 4 is provided with a fuel part 6 mounted to the wall surface 5 and storing the solid propellant 9, and an ignition part 7 mounted to the wall surface 5 to face the fuel part 6 with the center J of the combustion chamber 2 placed in between and irradiating the solid propellant 9 with laser L to burn the solid propellant 9.
