<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a woven fabric of spun carbon fiber yarn, having excellent strength, low electric resistance in the thickness direction, useful as an electrode material for a polymer electrolyte-type fuel cell and having a thin thickness. <P>SOLUTION: The woven fabric of spun carbon fiber yarn has a thickness of 0.08-0.15 mm and a bulk density of 0.45-0.70 g/cm<SP>3</SP>and satisfies the formulas (1) 150<C<SB>A</SB><400 and (2) 0.40<C<SB>B</SB>/C<SB>A</SB><0.62 wherein C<SB>A</SB>(dtex) is the thickness of the spun carbon fiber yarn in the warp direction and C<SB>B</SB>(dtex) is the thickness of the spun carbon fiber yarn in the weft direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
