PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive screwing amount adjusting tool which ensures sufficient attracting force based on peripheral magnetic flux density, even by the arrangement of a relatively small magnet, facilitates the checking of a screwing location and long-term holding of a power driver, is resistant to easy slipout of a screw or the like fitted onto a bit head, and contributes to improved working efficiency when continuously screwing a number of screws to a uniform depth. SOLUTION: The adjusting tool is formed of a cylinder body 1 which allows insertion therein of a bit shaft B having a ball groove Bc and a blade portion Bt on both ends thereof, and can be supported by the bit shaft B; the magnet 2 which is internally arranged in the vicinity of the tip of the cylinder body 1, and encloses a side periphery of a bit head Bh of the bit shaft B when the bit shaft B is inserted therein; a ferromagnetic plate 3 which is arranged inside the cylinder body 1 while making contact with the magnet 2; a cylinder length adjusting means 4 for adjusting the cylinder body 1 to an arbitrary length L1; a slipout preventive means for preventing the cylinder body 1 from easily slipping out of the bit shaft B; and a rotating means for rotating the cylinder body 1 forward and backward with respect to the bit shaft B.
