An agricultural wheel tire having on its periphery a plurality of first lugs and a plurality of second lugs provided circumferentially in an alternating manner is provided. A depressed portion formed by adjacent two first lugs and a second lug located between the first lugs has a spherical shape. A depressed portion formed by adjacent two second lugs and a first lug located between the second lugs also has a spherical shape. The soil is hardened within the spherical depressed portions, preventing the tire from sinking.
