PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for capturing sensory data, in association with image data. SOLUTION: The method and the apparatus for capturing the variable length of the sensory data, in association with the static image data are disclosed. Manipulations of a camera are detected prior to image-capture (208), and the sensory data are generated, in response to detection of the manipulations (209). The sensory data are stored in a temporary storage unit (106). When a control signal to capture still images is active, the still image data are generated (210) and are stored in a non-volatile storage unit (108).
