PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set a house code or an address without fail even when jamming of data from a neighbor house is present, by omitting troublesome operations in a power line carrier communication system. SOLUTION: A terminal (n) to be controlled and a control terminal 2 for setting the house code and the address to the terminal (n) to be controlled are provided in a communication network system wherein data communications are performed between a plurality of devices via a power line 100, and on the basis of house code announce data and address setting data, the house code and the address are set to the terminal (n) to be controlled.
