PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an operation needed for transcription easier. SOLUTION: An information processor sets the number of characters that a user speaks in a unit time in advance. When an instruction for dividing text data displayed in a cell of the eleventh item of a text input area 172 is inputted, the information processor divides the text data before and after a cursor 401 and respectively displays the first half text data and the latter half text data after division in different cells. In addition, the information processor divides the number of characters of the first half text data by the number of characters that the user speaks in the unit time to calculate a quotient, adds the quotient to a time code "00: 01: 06" in the cell of the eleventh item of an IN point display area 173, and calculates a time code of an IN point of the latter half text data.
