The invention relates to a hydraulic system (1) of a gearbox comprising a starting clutch. The hydraulic system (1) is provided with a primary circuit (24) and a secondary circuit (5). A cooling device (9) of the starting coupling, a cooler (7) for hydraulic fluid and a supply of lubricant (10) for the gearbox are integrated into the secondary circuit (5). The cooler (7) is arranged upstream from the cooling device (9) of the starting clutch. A volume of hydraulic fluid flowing through the cooler (7) can be limited by means of a controllable bypass line (11) which leads into the secondary circuit (5) downstream from the cooler (7) and upstream from the cooling device (9) of starting clutch (9).
