<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medium to be used for creating an authenticable original document, and a method for making such a document. <P>SOLUTION: A digital file is generated by obtaining the high-resolution scan of a physical indicia identifier, a high-resolution scan file is related to an identification number printed on the sheet of the medium, this is stored, a digital text file to be printed on the sheet of the medium is created, this is produced and by using the produced digital text file, a message image is created. Then, the message image is combined with the high-resolution scan file of the physical indicia identifier to generate a distributed message, and the distributed message is printed on the sheet together with the text file. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
