PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly heat resistant aluminum alloy casting which has a more improved thermal fatigue life, and is advantageous to the improvement of heat resistance. SOLUTION: The highly heat resistant aluminum alloy casting comprises, by mass, 8.0 to 12.0% silicon, 0.5 to 1.1% copper and 0.2 to 0.4% magnesium, and the balance substantially aluminum with inevitable impurities. The maximum diameter of cavities is≤600μm, and the dimensions of secondary dendrite in the matrix are≤40μm. It is estimated that the thermal expansion coefficient of the material can be reduced by the increase of silicon, and therefore, the damage given to the material caused by the repetition of thermal strain is reduced, so that its thermal fatigue life improves.
