PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation image conversion panel, and manufacturing method for the same capable of reducing warp by heat treatment and nonuniformity in an image. SOLUTION: A radiation image conversion panel is provided with a support body 11, and a phosphor layer 12 formed on the support body 11 by a vapor deposition method. In the support body 11, carbon fiber reinforced resin sheets 16a, 16b wherein carbon fibers 17a, 17b are unidirectionally arrayed and impregnated with a heat-resistant resin are layered with a plurality of layers to direct the carbon fibers 17a, 17b in the carbon fiber reinforced resin sheets 16a, 16b to a plurality of directions. The carbon fibers 17a, 17b of 60 % or more are directed therein to the same direction, out of the carbon fibers 17a, 17b in the carbon fiber reinforced resin sheets 16a, 16b.
