<p>The light metal profiled component (2) for frame constructions has several cavities (3) with at least one having one slot to accommodate especially an edge section of a flat element (34). The slot on the outer side is narrowed through rounded profiled protrusions (35a,35b), pointing towards each other, in the fashion of an undercut longitudinal slot, to hold the flat element in the profiled component at a variable defined angle with regard to a profile reference axis (38). Independent claims are also included for the following: (a) a use for a profiled component which is for a cover of a book binding machine, for example; and (b) a cover for a book binding machine, for example.</p> |
