PURPOSE: An installation structure of a water quality detecting apparatus for a washing machine is provided to improve working efficiency, and to prevent wrong assembling by installing the water quality detecting apparatus accurately and optimally in the tub with the position setting rib and the wrong assembling restricting rib. CONSTITUTION: An installation structure of a water quality detecting apparatus(56) is composed of a tub storing water; the water quality detecting apparatus installed in an opening hole of the tub to detect the quality of water; a position setting rib(58) protruded at the side of the water quality detecting apparatus and combined with the tub to set the installation position of the water quality detecting apparatus; and a wrong assembling restricting rib(60) formed at the side of the opening hole of the tub to prevent wrong assembling of the water quality detecting apparatus by restricting combination of the position setting rib at assembling failure of the water quality detecting apparatus. |
