There is provided a plastic plate and a plastic plate assembly, which can increase the amount of samples, such as gene fragments and specimens to be hybridized, to more precisely analyze genes. A plastic plate 2 is formed so as to be capable of housing a plurality of samples to be analyzed. A large number of wells (recessed portions) 3 for housing therein samples are formed in the surface 7 of the plastic plate 2 by transferring the shape of a metal pattern. Thus, a sufficient amount of samples can be housed in the wells 3, so that it is possible to efficiently and more precisely inspect, analyze and house therein various samples. <IMAGE>
