PURPOSE: A method for setting a password of an over-current relay is provided to prevent damage of a motor due to a current value and a time setup value of the over-current relay by adding a password input mode to the over-current relay. CONSTITUTION: An output signal of an external signal input unit(1) is inputted into a microprocessor(4) through a filter circuit(2). The microprocessor is used for receiving and transmitting a setup value of an EEPROM(3), an operating cause, and an operating value. In addition, the microprocessor is used for comparing a received signal with a program of a setup unit(7), displaying the desired data on a display unit(6), and controlling an output relay.
