Mixed oxide material of formula ABOy, an electrode comprising said material, and method of manufacturing said electrode for use in an electrochemical cell

A mixed oxide material with high electron conductivity of empirical formula ABOy, where y does not equal 3; and the use of said material in electrodes for electrochemical cells. Also disclosed are said materials whereby the material is a pervoskite-type material and a Brown-Millerite-type material. Further disclosed is an electrochemical cell comprising an electrode made of said mixed oxide material.
