Use of rosiglitazone in the treatment of polycystic ovary syndrome ( PCOS ) and gestational diabetes ( GDM )

A therapeutically effective amount of the compound 5-(4-[2-(N-methyl-N(2-pyridyl)amino)ethoxy]-benzyl)-2, 4- thiazolidinedione is used in the manufacture of a medicament for use in treating polycystic ovary syndrome or treating gestational diabetes. Reference has been directed, in pursuance of section 14(1) of the Patents Act 1953, to patent No. 336689 by the authority of the Commissioner of Patents.
