The endoscope has a visualization case (3) integrated to a lateral face (28) of a control case (2) by an articulation formed by a connector. The control case has a control panel (20) on an upper face with a control and adjusting unit (23-26) of a video processor. The control case is elongated between distal and proximal ends of an inspection tube so as to be held in a hand and enable activation of control unit. The control unit is activated with a help of a thumb of the hand.
