METHOD AND DEVICE FOR FAST PRINT

PURPOSE: A method and a device for the fast print are provided to maximize performance through the reduction of the host/printer load and shorten a transfer speed by reading/printing a document stored in a printer when a user prints the previously printed document again. CONSTITUTION: A print checker(90) checks that the document is previously printed based on the task information inputted from a host(80), and outputs a check result as a control signal to the host. A document processor(94) processes the print document transmitted from the host. A storage(92) stores the processed document and the task information transmitted from the host by responding to the control signal. A printing part(110) processes/prints the document read from the storage or inputted from the document processor by responding to a print command inputted from the host. The document processor is equipped with an input buffer(100) receiving/buffering the print document transmitted from the host, and a data converter(102) converting a buffering result into the bitmap data and outputting a converting result as the processed document.
