Fabrication of a composite material consists of: (a) preparing a dry homogeneous mixture of cement and rubber powder with a granulometry of less than 1 mm, the rubber powder being 10 to 60 % of the volume of the dry mixture; (b) adding water gradually by kneading the mixture, to obtain a manageable mortar; (c) adding a air entraining foaming agent, in a proportion of 0.1 to 2 % of the cement mass, whilst kneading the mortar during a supplementary time, to favor the integration of air bubbles in the mortar. An Independent claim is also included for the composite material obtained.
