PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information providing device, an information providing method, an information providing system and an information providing program that can effectively provide information depending on requests in a plurality of protocols from a client. SOLUTION: The information providing device, which responds to each request transmitted in a different protocol from a terminal via a network by transmitting given information to the terminal, has information acquiring means for executing given processing depending on each request transmitted in the different protocol to acquire the given information, and information converting means for converting the given information acquired by the information acquiring means to data depending on the different protocol, according to conversion rules defined in dependence on request identification information included in each request for the identification of each request.
