PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature sensor with superior durability capable of carrying out an accurate temperature detection while eliminating the need for correction in accordance with the length of a lead wire. SOLUTION: The temperature sensor is provided with a housing 1, a thermistor 5 capable of outputting electric properties as electric signals varying in response to its temperature, and a pair of lead wires 6 whose ends are connected to the thermistor 5 respectively in order to take the electric signals of the thermistor 5 from the housing 1. The lead wire 6 is made up of a stranded mixing wire composed of a first electric wire 8 made of nickel-plated mild copper and a second electric wire 7 made of stainless steel.
