<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optimize the storage period of a reception weight vector. <P>SOLUTION: N-sets of antennas 22 apply transmission/reception processing to a radio frequency signal. A radio unit 12 performs frequency conversion between a base band signal and the radio frequency signal, amplification, and AD or DA conversion or the like. A signal processing unit 14 performs signal processing required for transmission/reception processing by an adaptive array antenna. A modem unit 16 performs modulation and demodulation. A base band unit 18 acts like an interface with a network 24. A storage period determining unit 200 determines the storage period of a received response vector estimated by the signal processing unit 14.
