<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a turn behavior controlling apparatus of a four-wheel drive vehicle for securing the practical effect of turn behavior control for suppressing an oversteer tendency and an understeer tendency while maintaining a four-wheel drive state and braking torque control in turning in the four-wheel drive state where the differential rotation of the front and front wheels is limited. <P>SOLUTION: The turn behavior controlling apparatus that is applied to the four-wheel drive vehicle for limiting the rotational difference between the front and rear wheels and controls the turn behavior of the vehicle comprises a VDC/TCS/ABS controller 17 for controlling a braking torque being independently given to each wheel to control turn behavior according to the turn state of a vehicle independently of braking operation by a driver; an engine control controller 18 for controlling the output of an engine 1 of the vehicle independently of acceleration operation by the driver; and drive torque correction steps S9-S11 for correcting drive torque for increasing the engine torque in the four-wheel drive state where the differential rotation of the front and rear wheels is limited and in VDC control giving the braking torque by the VDC/TCS/ABS controller 17. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
