PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to control the alteration of the number of pulses of an operation clock for a microprocessor easily and instantaneously.

SOLUTION: As long as a bus busy signal 10 from the microprocessor 1 for indicating that a bus 4 is in a busy state exists, a clock of the same number of pulse as a system clock 8 is supplied to the microprocessor 1 as a dynamic clock 9 by a clock control unit 2; while the bus busy signal 10 does not exist, a toothless clock which has reduced the number of pulse of the clock 8 is supplied to the microprocessor 1 as the dynamic clock 9.
