<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid injection head which realizes elongation of nozzle arrays by reducing the size in a main scanning direction of a device body as much as possible. <P>SOLUTION: A channel unit 16 is formed by a nozzle plate 17, a nozzle formation plate 18 where pressure generation chambers 22 communicating with nozzle openings 20 are formed, and a sealing plate 19 which seals openings of the pressure generation chambers 22. The channel unit 16 is joined to a head case 14, thus constituting a liquid injection unit U. The liquid injection head has the liquid injection unit U fitted to a head holder 33. A plurality of the liquid injection units U are fitted at the head holder 33. A tapered combination shape part 39 is set at a part of the outer shape of the liquid injection unit U. The combination shape part 39 is made approximately symmetric seen in a unit width direction.
