PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for performing a display showing a digital transmission state stably with the minimum number of signal connections. SOLUTION: The digital signal transmission system is provided with a transmission state display device for detecting the signal point arrangement state of transmission signals from signals obtained by receiving and modulating the transmission signals, turning it into a video image and two-dimensionally displaying it on the receiver side. The transmission state display device is provided with a means for detecting the presence/absence of the change of the received and demodulated signals, a means for stopping a signal collection processing for transmission state display in a period during which the change is detected in the detection means and detecting the signal point arrangement state from the signals collected in the period during which the change is not detected, and a means for turning it into the video image and two-dimensionally displaying it.
