PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simply structured optical disk drive that positions a disk cartridge, prevents the disk cartridge from being reversely inserted, and makes it easy to load and unload the disk cartridge. SOLUTION: The disk drive 100 has a housing 40, and a disk tray 31 where a disk cartridge 10 containing a disk to be inserted into or discharged from the housing 40 is placed. Further, a rib 45 is provided, on a disk cartridge mount surface of the disk tray 31, which is engaged with a guide groove 26 for positioning the disk cartridge 10 to the disk tray 31 when the disk cartridge 10 having the guide groove 26 is mounted on the disk tray 31.
