The arrangement has an electromagnet that can be operated in two positions for opening a locked lid continuously under mechanical tension. Operating the electromagnet withdraws a connected locking bolt from a hook formation of a locking element on the lid and the lid opens by a defined distance. Resetting the electromagnet presses the bolt against a suitably shaped round section of the open locking element and opens the lid by a further distance. The arrangement has an electromagnet (12) that can be operated in two positions for opening a locked lid (1) continuously under mechanical tension. Operating the electromagnet withdraws a connected locking bolt (10) from a hook formation (5) of a locking element (2) on the lid and the lid opens by a defined distance. Resetting the electromagnet presses the bolt against a suitably shaped round section (3) of the open locking element and opens the lid by a further distance.
