PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit the impairing of the operation feeling of a gear shift pedal while simplifying a constitution and to allow the gear shift pedal and a hydrostatic continuously variable transmission to easily link with each other. SOLUTION: In this gear shifting operation structure for a working machine, a lateral spindle 28 holding the gear shift pedal 25 linked to the hydrostatic continuously variable transmission 12 has a long length to be penetrated through an upper part of a transmission case 3, so that it is supported in a state of being penetrated through the transmission case 3.
