PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compressed audio data reproducing device that can improve a stable method which eliminates noise in audible fast forwarding and rewinding and makes double-speed values constant. SOLUTION: In low-double-speed fast forwarding (S20), frames of an audio data stream are successively detected and reproduced frames and skip frames are alternated. In high-double-speed fast forwarding and rewinding (S13), frame detection and frame skipping are performed a plurality of times (S14 to S18) from frame detection of the head of the audio data stream skipped by a means of jumping the data stream forward (rewinding) or backward (fast forwarding) to a reproduction start frame, thereby bringing about is the effect that the stable and reliable audible fast-forwarding and rewinding method which is free of noise and has constant double speed values can be obtained.
