摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attempt lightening of a vehicle by reducing the number of parts and to improve rigidity of a vehicle body by improving a steering shaft supporting structure of the vehicle especially for travelling on an irregular (non-leveled) ground. <P>SOLUTION: This vehicle for travelling on the irregular ground capable of steering front wheels with a steering wheel through a steering shaft 12 mounted on a vehicle body frame 11 free to rotate by suspending the front wheels and rear wheels on the vehicle body frame 11 through a suspension is constituted by supporting the steering shaft 12 on an upper cross beam 64 by suspending the cross beam 64 on left and right front upper pipes 63, 63 constituting the vehicle body frame 11. Consequently, it is possible to firmly connect the left and right pipes to each other by the upper cross beam 64, to improve rigidity of the vehicle body frame, to reduce the number of the parts in comparison with a case of especially providing a steering shaft supporting member and to lighten the vehicle. Additionally, it is possible to improve rigidity of the upper cross beam itself by bending and molding the upper cross beam and to further improve rigidity of the car body frame while restraining increase in weight of the vehicle body frame. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p>
