PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcast receiver capable of easily setting individual authentication information by an interactive image just by connecting a memory card or the like to the broadcast receiver. SOLUTION: The broadcast receiver is provided with a display part 24 for generating and outputting display signals for displaying an ID issuance image for listing the candidates of the individual authentication information to be set and urging selection when the individual authentication information is not detected from the connected memory card 25, an ID issuance management part 19 for setting the individual authentication information selected on a selection image to the memory card, and a recording reservation management part 20 for reserving recording on the basis of the individual authentication information set in the memory card and receiving and recording broadcasting signals. The individual authentication information is easily set to the memory card on an interactive form image, and recording reservation and reproduction are performed with the card thereafter.
