PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an environmental condition grasping device that easily acquires the information on a mobile object, etc., in a prescribed region to be monitored together with the information on the spatial position of the object etc. SOLUTION: This environmental condition grasping device is provided with laser radar which scans the prescribed region to be monitored, a radar image generating means which generates a laser radar image visualizing the distance information detected by means of the laser radar, and a security camera which is provided in the vicinity of the laser radar and picks up the image of the region to be monitored by the laser radar. This device is also provided with an image matching means which correlates the coordinates of a camera image picked up by means of the security camera to those of the laser radar image. This device makes environmental conditions to be grasped easily by imparting the distance information to each section of the camera image and displaying the information on the mobile object found from the laser radar image in a state where the information is superimposed upon a monitoring image (camera image) as auxiliary information.
