PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire pneumatic pressure monitoring device capable of eliminating wasteful tire distinguishing code registration and securing an accurate tire pneumatic pressure sensing time by recognizing that there is the high possibility of tire replacement. SOLUTION: The tire pneumatic pressure monitoring device is provided with a pressure sensor detecting the pneumatic pressure of each tire, a transmitter and a transmission antenna for transmitting at least the detected tire pneumatic pressure together with individual ID of each tire by a radio signal, a reception antenna and a receiving circuit attached to a vehicle side to receive a radio signal from the transmission antenna, and an ID registration means for registering the ID of each mounting tire by updating a memory to an EEPROM. The device is provided with a jack-up determining step S4 for determining the jack-up of the vehicle. The ID registration means has an ID registration step S5 for registering the ID of each mounting tire by updating the memory to the EEPROM when determining the jack-up. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
