A high current switching circuit comprises many transistors (T1,2i,3i) joined in an at least two-step Darlington circuit at least one of which comprises many parallel transistors (2i,3i). Many of the parallel transistors comprise a stage (1,2) with its own ground resistance (Ra2i,Ra3i) connected between the transistor base (12) and emitter (11).
