The current-monitoring device consists of a ceramic low-tension detonator with a resistance that decreases with increasing temperature, especially an SiC ceramic low-tension detonator, and is designed to measure a current at least partly flowing through the detonator and to evaluate whether a desired operating state is achieved during combustion and/or detonation.
