<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric potential sensor which increases assembling accuracy, and reduces the variation of performance by a simple and low-cost method, and also to provide and its assembling method. <P>SOLUTION: The electric potential sensor has a detection electrode 3, a tuning fork oscillator 4 equipped with two oscillating arms 4A, 4B, a board 11 on which the detection electrode 3 and the oscillator 4 are arranged on the same surface, and a case 17 for attaching the board 11. The board 11 has a hole 12 which is formed within the interval between the two oscillating arms 4A, 4B of the oscillator 4, at a position corresponding to a part interposed by the two oscillating arms 4A, 4B of the oscillator 4 arranged at a predetermined position on the board 11.
