PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve durability of an elastic body for reducing a steering load in a steering area where a steering auxiliary motor is not driven, and eliminate a sound caused by a restriction part for improving durability of the elastic body. SOLUTION: The electric power steering device is equipped with two disc springs 12, 12 which suppresses the movement in the axial length direction of a worm 3 rotated with the steering auxiliary motor 1, annular restriction parts 13, 13 restrict amount of deflection of respective disc springs 12, 12, and buffer bodies 16, 16 interposed between the restriction parts 13, 13 and the members relatively moving to the restriction parts. The sound generated when the restriction parts 13, 13 restrict the amount of deflection of the disc springs 12, 12, is reduced with the buffer bodies 16, 16. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
