PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for more quickly and simply manufacturing a dental prosthesis than in conventional methods. SOLUTION: This dental prosthesis is manufactured as a (partial) substitute for each tooth or a group of teeth in a dental arch in a jaw using recording of space information in an oral cavity related to tooth roots or implants to bear it. The recording of information items in the oral cavity is extended to teeth adjacent to the dental prosthesis to be manufactured, and a range of jaw affected by that at least. A model of the jaw or part of the jaw including the adjacent teeth is produced using the information items. Separately from that, a support structure for the dental prosthesis is manufactured using part of the information items.
